The screening process removes objects such as rags, paper, plastics and any other solids that are found in wastewater. One of the significant costs incurred by wastewater treatment plants is the disposal of these solids. The Kuhn KWP-P (Premium) Wash Press is used to treat organic matter after the pre-separation of screenings. Screenings are transferred to the wash press where they are efficiently and effectively washed, dewatered and compacted.
