  • Wash Press (Premium)

The Kuhn KWP-P (Premium) Wash Press is used to treat organic matter after the pre-separation of screenings. Screenings are transferred to the wash press where they are efficiently and effectively washed, dewatered and compacted.

  • Wash Press (Heavy Duty)

The Kuhn KWP-HD (Heavy Duty) Wash Press contains the many excellent features of the KWP-P (Premium). In addition, this high-quality, heavy-duty wash press is fitted with an extra stable and robust 3-D lasered separation screen. The screen’s enlarged open area makes it highly resistant to clogging. Both the separation screen and wear rails in the KWP-HD are replaceable. This wash press has a powerful, robust design and improved access for maintenance and cleaning.

  • Whitetip Shark Washing Compactor

Hydro-Dyne’s Whitetip Shark Washing Compactors are robust, high performing and efficient. These compactors are available in different configurations, varying in type of flow, solids collected and washing processes. Standard model designs include:

    • Whitetip Shark Washing Compactor — this compactor provides drainage, washing and compaction.
    • Whitetip Shark Washing Compactor with enhanced dewatering — this compactor provides drainage, washing, rinse, dewatering and compaction.
    • Whitetip Shark Washing Compactor with enhanced wash/dewatering — this compactor provides drainage, washing, enhanced washing, rinse, dewatering and compaction.
  • Macipump/Macerator Pump

The Haigh Engineering Company’s Macipumps have been designed to disintegrate sewage waste within a liquid medium. Process solids, together with wash water, enter a stationary cutter ring within which a tipped impeller with radial slots rotates. The combined action of the cutter ring and impeller shred the solids putting them in suspension for further processing.

  • Lisep Liquid Separator and Lipactor Screenings Compactor

The Haigh Engineering Company’s high performance and reliable Lisep Liquid Separator and Lipactor Screenings Compactor produces washed, clean and compacted screenings, with maximum organics returned to the flow to improve downstream processes. The superior volume reduction the Lisep Liquid Separator and Lipactor Screenings Compactor produces results in reduced site traffic and skip transportation.

  • ACE Pactor

The Haigh Engineering Company’s ACE Pactor has been designed to process screenings from any inlet screen and can handle up to 8 L/s of launder wash water. Control is via ultrasonic level transducer ensuring that the ACE Pactor only runs when there is adequate screening material present resulting in lower maintenance and whole life costs.

The ACE Pactor is a simple, economical solution for compacting screenings and creating clean, dry, low volume screenings product.

  • Spiral Conveyor/Sluicing Launder

Kuhn KSF Spiral Conveyors are used for transporting solid matter and sludge, especially sludge which tends to be tacky and sticky — such as siftings and screenings from wastewater treatment plants.

Kuhn KLS Sluicing Launders are used for transporting screenings slurry via gravity from the discharge of a screen to screenings processing equipment. The Kuhn KLS Sluicing Launder utilises the same trough as the Kuhn KSF Spiral Conveyor.

All Kuhn spiral conveyors and sluicing launders can be designed as completely closed systems thereby avoiding dust, moisture and odour emissions. Their high-quality, wear-resistant materials ensure a long service life. The construction is modular in nature to ensure maximum flexibility and customisation.

  • Screw Conveyor/Sluice Systems

Hydro-Dyne’s Spinner Shark Screw Conveyor and Sluice Systems provide a variety of choices for transporting solids. Both systems and are totally enclosed to ensure safety, odour control and provide aesthetics.

  • Screenings Shredder

The Kuhn KRZ Screenings Shredder has been designed to be used in in conjunction with Kuhn wash presses. The screenings shredder can be flange-connected directly to the wash press discharge chute. A shaftless screw with multiple flights then shreds the previously washed, dewatered and compressed screenings.
